The threat of FA Cup replays for Qualifying Rounds; FSA invite views via survey

The Iron’s second qualifying round game is tomorrow at Newcastle Town FC. If the scores are level after 90 minutes would you want the tie to be settled on the day with Newcastle Town FC enjoying home advantage or prefer a replay at Glanford Park ? The Football Supporters Association’s view is that the scrapping of replays would be yet another erosion of the tradition and heritage that is part of our, the supporters, beautiful game. The FA scrapped replays from the first round onwards with barely a nod on its impact on the teams in the football pyramid. The main reason given was to protect the (rich) clubs who have to find more dates to play games in the newly expanded European Competitions. Illogical as none of these enter the FA Cup until Round 3 (not that we are suggesting dropping replays from Round 3 onwards is acceptable either). The FSA is inviting opinions on this issue from non-league fans and have launched a survey which can be accessed at are-non-league-fans-up-for-the-cup-replays. It takes about 30 seconds to complete.
