Former landlady of the Lincoln Imp public house in Scunthorpe Lorraine Briggs has organised for the band Ace of Kings to play in the marquee at the Attis arena this Saturday before the game against Blyth from 12.30pm.

Lorraine leads the Long live the Imp group who are working towards retaining the Imp as a community facility to include licensed premises and the entertainment venue.

The public consultation, which starts prior to the Blyth home game, is required by the Plunkett Organisation to enlist their support in retaining the venue primarily for live music.  Iron Trust chairman Cllr Tony Gosling sits on the Long Live the Imp group and would like to thank all at Scunthorpe United FC for their show of support for the campaign.

Tony said “Please show your support for saving the Imp by signing the petition which will be available before the game at turnstiles.  We will have the petition available for signatures at Trust corner too.”
