Tony Gosling, Dave Beverley and Steve Hawes attended a meeting at Grantham Town FC on Thursday 23rd January.

Representatives from the Trusts at Lincoln City, Grimsby Town, Northampton Town and Leicester City attended for what was an interesting evening.

This was the first meeting and each Trust introduced themselves, discussed how they functioned, raised funds and how they spent those funds. We also heard how they attracted members and their relationships with the the club owners.

There were different approaches, different problems, different successes for us to learn from each other.

We also discussed the Football Governance Bill and the expected role of the Regulator. There are concerns that the bill may never be implemented or if it does, how “weak” will it be.?

We will meet again at the end of the season.
